Friday, July 11: Queen of Cups

This Queen is an excellent representation of your ability to utilize your own intuition. What are you paying attention to today? Are you listening to your intuitive voice that comes into your mind and tells you where you left your keys? Or the voice that tells you NOT to say something that you will regret later.

Of course, listening to your inner voice, your intuition, your psychic ability is the up side of this card. But it’s very important to know the difference between your inner voice and the old, left over critical voice of your childhood/upbringing.

If you don’t listen, then we can take a walk on the down side. What’s going on is the fear that there is no way to prove that any thoughts that come through are "real". You spend your energy saying why would I know that, how would I know that, I can’t believe that since I’m making it up.

Your intuition is always there. Even when you ignore it, it doesn’t go away. It waits patiently for you to acknowledge its’ presence. Today’s a great day to take the intuitive challenge -- if it can’t hurt, why not try?

So why not take a moment before any action today and ask -- is this a good move for me, what can I expect if I do this, where did I leave my car keys -- and then take a moment and listen for the answer. If praying is talking to God, then meditation is listening for the answer. Take the time to listen today. You might be surprised at what you hear!
