Perhaps the most useless emotion we experience is guilt. If you feel guilty because you don't want to go to the family dinner, or you don't want to work late, or you took the last piece of cake, it's time to examine the real source of these feelings. Identify the why and how of guilt, how it all got started, and what you can do to make it stop. If the issue doesn't belong to you, it's time to learn to give it back and not allow guilt to sway your actions. Through exercises, homework, meditations and experiments, you'll be able to get to the core issue, change what isn't working in your life and enjoy what is!
